Floating Sandbox/Sinking of MV Wilhelm Gustloff (Deadliest Maritime Disaster)

January 30, 2023 marks exactly 78 years since the MV Wilhelm Gustloff was torpedoed and sunk while transporting over 10,500 German refugees from Poland to Germany. Over 9,400 innocent lives went down with the ship making the sinking of the Wilhelm Gustloff the worst maritime disaster in history. RIP to all those who lost their lives on January 30, 1945 during the sinking of MV Wilhelm Gustloff.
