US Army 38th Division Soldiers Land at Mariveles Philippine Islands WW2 Footage Feb 15 1945

Soldiers of the 38th Division go ashore on the southern tip of the Bataan Peninsula at Mariveles Harbor on the Philippine island of Luzon. This action on February 15, 1945, silenced the big guns that covered an approach to the island of Corregidor and paved the way for the landings that would take place there on the following day.
