She is a film, television and stage actress born Annabella Gloria Sciorra on March 29, 1960, in Wethersfield, Connecticut, U.S. Annabella’s paternal grandparents were Giuseppe and Filomena Sciorra, born in New York, to Italian parents from Carunchio, Province of Chieti, Abruzzo. Her maternal grandparents were from Formia, Lazio. She has no known siblings, is not currently married and has no children. Her ex-husband is Australian actor Joe Petruzzi (married 1989; divorced 1993). Her partner from about 2004 to 2007 was fellow Italian American actor Bobby Cannavale. Her acting debut was as the lead role in "True Love" in 1989. She has appeared in about 35 films and over 25 television shows. Her 3 best known acting roles are as Gloria Trillo in "The Sopranos", Claire Bartel in "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle", and Diane in "Jungle Fever".
