One of the first things police turn to when trying to locate someone is local surveillance footage and security cameras. Even something as simple as a 20 second shot from a neighbour’s doorbell camera can give valuable information, like what the person was wearing, what direction they were heading in, and what physical state they were in. But these visuals are only part of the puzzle, and don’t necessarily lead to the missing person being found.
