Ryobi 40v HP 21 inch Crosscut Mower Unboxing and Real World Demo

Some notes of interest from my usage:
The Smart Trek (self propelled) can easily climb even the toughest hills. I used it to mow a wet, 45 degree hill without any problems at all.

Battery: I have found that a single 6a battery lasts around 35 minutes or 1500 square feet, That is while using the Smart Trek variable speed drive.

Charging time: The quick charger that comes with this mower is a game changer. It takes about 40 minutes to charge a 6a battery. With that said, you can use one battery until it is out of power, put it on the charger, switch to the second battery and by the time the second battery is out of power the first one is charged. I ran the mower for 3 hours without having to stop and wait for a the batteries to charge.

Crosscut: the Crosscut feature on this mower mulches the grass into extra fine pieces. This is great when mulching and allows the mower to hold more clippings when bagging.
