We often spend our time deciding who was right and who was wrong. But every protest, every order, every confrontation, and every consequence eventually finds its way back home. A peaceful protest is a voice. A uniform is a responsibility. Neither exists in isolation from the people waiting behind them. The father in this illustration isn’t simply happy or sad. He’s proud of his son’s future, yet burdened by the uncertainty that may now follow him. In one hand, his son carries an offer letter—a future built with years of hard work.
