Winslow Homer at the Clark Art Institute
There is a museum in Western Massachusetts, 40 miles from Albany that has some of the most BEAUTIFUL paintings you will ever see. The Clark Art Institute is a jewel nestled in the Berkshire mountains and if art and nature mean anything to you, you should plan a trip.
Given its setting, the Clark’s holdings of Winslow Homer’s landscapes particularly caught my eye. I had seen some of these in reproduction before, but I was overwhelmed to get to see them in person.
