PBX vs IP PBX | Difference In Business Phone Systems

http://Sales.VirtualCommLLC.com

A PBX is typically a digital system using TDM. An IP PBX is given an IP address on the customer's Local Area Network, LAN as are each of the telephones. The calls are transmitted using IP or internet protocol.
That is keeping it pretty simple.
It really depends on how robust your network is on whether you want to use an IP PBX. It is very easy to do moves, adds and changes with an IP system.
