240hp @wheels with very conservative timing is nothing to sneeze at!

We' were on a mission to prove the old Ford cross-flows usefulness. Watch as we take our few hundred dollar motor to the Dyno and uncover what power a bargain gumtree blower and some timing can do to a junkyard block.

We had a few issues with our original tensioner blower pully, which ended up in a trip back home to knock together another 1 over night and what we thought was really bad timing or fuel initially was simply issues with methanol and the low temperatures pre-start.
Having sorted all the dramas out the old X-flow managed to impress even Wisky.
