The Pentax Auto 110, the swan song system for 110 film, arrived when the sales decline, general poor performance, and cost to value ratio of 110 film made it clear that the format was soon to be obsolete. That said, the camera's engineering and overall system quality demonstrate that the Pentax 110 system can deliver fantastic and captivating results. The Auto 110, the simpler of the two Pentax 110 SLRs, supported by the 110 lens system, presented cost- and size-conscious photographers with a quality system that was easy to carry.
