I asked 3 Claude AI models the same question:
"My car wash is 100 meters away. Should I walk or drive?"
Claude Sonnet and Opus both said: Walk.
Claude Fable 5 said: Drive. The car needs washing, not you.
That one answer changed how I look at AI entirely.
Most models saw "100 meters" and optimized for distance. One model understood the actual goal: getting the car to the car wash, not getting a person there.
This is what context-awareness in AI actually looks like. It's not about which model is biggest or fastest. It's about which one understands what you're really trying to do.
The same gap exists in how we use AI at work. We keep asking surface-level questions and wondering why we get surface-level answers.
The prompt isn't the problem. The thinking behind the prompt is.
