Golden Oriole (Oriolus oriolus)

Golden Oriole nest site filmed in Bulgaria June 2019 from a mobile tower hide placed near the site. The male and female always seem to compete for the fecal sacs from the young chicks while at the nest together, and they can be seen here bill snapping at each other. It was a very nice experience for me to be able to capture intimate behavior moments like this, of one of Europe's most beautiful song birds, just a few minutes walk away from my home here in Bulgaria.
