... Back in the 90’s, we almost lost the authenticity of arts. The old masters were living out their days and had no youngartisans to pass on their valuable experience to. And only the energy and enthusiasm of the caring people united the masters and established a professional union that helped to recreate the long-forgotten secrets of the masters and pass them on to the young generation. This meticulous work has been carried out for many years by Kazakh artist, Aizhan Bekkulova.

To preserve and enhance the Kazakh artisanship, Chevron has been supporting the revival program of the national crafts of Kazakhstan for many.
