FEATHER - Salli (1970)

Feather was a Southern California country-rock band. The line-up featured singers/guitarists Mike Collings and Roger White, along with drummer Dan Greer, singer/keyboardist Johnny Townshend and bass player Steve Woodward.
Collins and Rogers had previously recorded an album and a pair of singles under the name Catch. Townshend had been a member of the Alabama-based The Rubber Band and a band called The Heart.
Feather has recorded one album for the Columbia label and a few singles for various labels. This song, written by Larry Sims (of The Sunshine Company) and Mike Collings is the B side of their single released by the White Whale label in May 1970.
