de Havilland Philharmonic Orchestra - the resident orchestra of the University of Hertfordshire - collaborates with music students from the University’s School of Creative Arts, providing invaluable real-life experiences for the budding composers studying for degrees in music composition and technology.

William Donaldson is studying a BSc (Hons) degree in 'Music Composition and Technology for Film & Games'. William composed a filmic piece, titled 'Oceanic Voyage', which was selected from a number of new compositions written for the dHPO by music students from the University's School of Creative Arts in 2024.
