Justice League: Mortal - The Greatest DC Movie Never Made (2017 Episode)

FROM THE ARCHIVES, PER FAN REQUEST: Before we were Superhero Stuff You Should Know, we were SuperHouse Podcast and before Ben was the Man Who Knows Too Much About Batman, he was the Senior Batman Correspondent/occasional guest. Take a dive with us into 2017, fresh off our disappointment from the theatrical Joss-tice League, as Ben goes into the script for Justice League: Mortal by Kieran and Michele Mulroney (2007), which was nearly made by George Miller and had a full cast that included D.J. Cotrona as Superman and Armie Hammer as Batman. This episode is almost the unofficial backdoor pilot to Superhero Stuff You Should Know as Ben also went into other unmade Batman scripts, like Tom Mankiewicz's The Batman and Darren Aronofsky's Batman: Year One.

We DO plan to do a deeper, official Superhero Stuff You Should Know episode on Justice League: Mortal in the future, but after director Ryan Unicomb completes his documentary Seven Friends: George Miller's Justice League, which will reveal a lot more about the project. Stay tuned.
