Severe storms and huge hail took place in many parts of Germany, Munich and Sankt Blasien
In southern Baden there were sometimes violent thunderstorms during the night. Hailstones fell in Sankt Blasien in the Waldshut district, and there was a landslide in Löffingen.

The storm raged especially in the Black Forest. In Sankt Blasien there was so much hail that the grains piled up for a short time and turned the streets white.
In Löffingen (Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district) there was a landslide after heavy rainfall in the village, according to the police. Elsewhere, the rain caused the streets to be washed over, and debris was sometimes washed onto the carriageways, for example near Ewattingen in the Waldshut district. Due to strong squalls, some trees fell over in the Wehratal and also near Malterdingen in the Emmendingen district. So far, however, no major damage is known.
