BBC: *Exclusive* Russian army officer speaks out
*Exclusive* A former Russian army officer has told the BBC he witnessed Russian soldiers committing war crimes in Ukraine. In an exclusive interview Konstantin Yefremov said Ukrainian prisoners of war were humiliated, beaten and shot. Mr Yefremov left the Russian army in August last year and has fled abroad. He spoke to the BBC’s Russia Editor Steve Rosenberg. (The BBC has verified photos, information and documents provided by Konstantin which confirm his identity and movements)
