Brickvile: Dawn After The Burrow

The torchlight is gone. So is the roof. So is the floor.

Where “The Burrow” stood 12 hours ago — 47 feet of safe, warm tunnels, hot cocoa pots, and whispered plans — there’s now just a crater. A massive, jagged hole in the ice, 200 studs wide, filled with shattered Lego support beams and collapsed bunk beds. Steam rises from the debris where the base’s heater core cracked open.

On the frozen cliff edge above, 23 minifigs stand in a ragged line. No one speaks. Backpacks hang loose. Blankets are pulled tight against the blizzard. A kid minifig clutches a melted Lego hot dogBelow them, in the crater, the yetis work.

They aren’t roaring. They aren’t smashing. They’re… salvaging. One yeti carefully lifts a crushed Lego crate marked “Medical Supplies” and sets it on a makeshift snow sled. Another pulls a minifig photo album from the rubble, blows the snow off, and tucks it into its fur. A third yeti is stacking intact Lego bricks into neat piles, like it’s sorting them by color.

Then the biggest yeti stops. It looks up at the minifigs on the cliff. Slowly, deliberately, it raises one massive hand.

It’s not a threat. It’s a wave.Behind it, half-buried in the ice at the bottom of the crater, something glints. Old. Stone. Carved. It’s a mural — yetis and minifigs, standing side by side, building the first walls of Brickvile together.

The minifig mayor drops his backpack.
