All cities with more than 10 million inhabitants (megacities): 1950 - 2035

According to the United Nations, Department of Economic and Social Affairs, Population Division (2018). The World’s Cities in 2018—Data Booklet (ST/ESA/ SER.A/417): Cities with more than 10 million inhabitants are often termed “megacities”.

This ranking is based on the historical and projected population of the urban agglomerations for the period 1950-2035.
