Pillars of Eternity Review

Obsidian Entertainments Pillars of Eternity has been on my radar for a while now, and although I’m about 4 years late, I’m definitely glad I went back to give it a shot.
While Obsidians gaming catalog is quite small, there’s no arguing that they have released some pretty incredible titles, including Knights of the Old Republic 2, Never Winter Nights 2, and Fallout New Vegas.

Back in 2012, Obsidian started up a crowd funding campaign for Pillars of Eternity with the intention of it being a spiritual successor to Boulders Gate, Icewind Dale and Planescape Torment. Not only did fans pledge 4 million dollars into this project, but at the time, it ended up being the highest funded crowd funding campaign ever!

If you’re a fan of these old school style cRPGs, then Pillars of Eternity will not disappoint.
