Sankta Lucia 2019

Hello!
This is a video I made as it's very close to our tradition we celebrate before Christmas, Sankta Lucia.

The Lucia traditions has their routs in Italy, in the medieval times there was a woman named Lucia. She's mostly known for her light in the darkness, when people were sick or found it very hard to go through some things, she came along and cured them from sickness, spread light in the dark for those who needed it and she was very kind. Since some people found it very odd for her to help so many people they thought she was a witch so they decided to sentence her to death.

Thats why we in North of Europe celebrate (December 13th) as the day of the Saint who spreads light in the dark, Sankta Lucia.

I wanted to honor her by being out in the dark forest, walking around and the only light was from my candles. We picture our saint like this in the video.
