Trevor Jacob Fake the Crash? What the FAA Might Look For– TakingOff

UPDATE HERE with an Aviation Attorney: https://youtu.be/9PvcXlV45wM Right before Christmas, Trevor Jacob released a video entitled “I Crashed my Plane” in which he claimed engine trouble while over the Las Padres mountains near the Los Angeles basin. Which was fine, because he was wearing a sport parachute. In the days since, Trevor has turned off comments on the video as the aviation community overwhelming are calling this a stunt Trevor pulled to garner views and attention.
The FAA has confirmed an investigation is underway, and we’ve done some of our own investigation and have some new information—like who really owned the plane.
