How would these new Ray-ban sunglasses look on me? And would this new IKEA shelf fit in my living room? When shopping online, we often struggle with so called ‘imagination gaps’. These imagination gaps don’t only occur when people go shopping, we also find it hard to imagine how things like donating blood can really help others.

Over the past three year, Tim Hilken (assistant professor at Maastricht University’s School of Business and Economics) has headed a research initiative about Augmented Reality to better understand what makes is so valuable.
