Marmion - Firechild (Video)

The Firechild video by Marmion was recorded and produced on an attic in Berlin-Kreuzberg in 1993. Initiated by Marcos López, it was intended as a birthday present for Mijk van Dijk, who was lured under a "false pretext" into Mediamorph's apartment, which realized the video for MARMION. The collaboration with Mediamorph and Elsa For Toys had arisen from the numerous parties at which both the animations and the decorations of the Berlin artists impressed again and again. At the request of Marcos, a shooting day was agreed, on which Mijk van Dijk should also be present. The video is a colorful contemporary document of video art from the early 1990s and, with its chants and percussive interludes, a sound proof of how Tribal, Trance and Techno by Multi Mijk and Marcos López were merged into a harmoniously powerful unit.
