Apple's macOS system has been extremely critical to the success of Apple Inc since 1984 with the release of the first Macintosh. Here is a video showing how macOS has evolved from the classic OS (System 0.97 - Mac OS 9) to the present (10.0 - 12.0.1 Monterey). Developer preview versions and Server variants have been excluded from this video.
