Sawing lumber on a Lane sawmill.

In this video we will take you through sawing lumber on an old fashioned # 1 Lane sawmill. We will begin with starting the International UD18 Gas Diesel engine and how that is done. Then we will power up the mill and saw a log. The mill uses a International engine, number one Lane Sawmill Husk, it has a Meadows carriage and will saw 20 ft. logs. When I built the mill I made it portable with two axles and a draw-bar off a farm implement. The mill sets on 12 inch I beams and there are detachable rail extensions. This video will demonstrate the power and speed of the circular mill.
