Lyrics:
NORTHBOUND TRAIN (LESBIAN MOON)

I slept with the lesbian again, tonight.
Drinking constantly,
But never standing upright.
She said, "I could really love you,
But I prefer to abuse".
So, I toast to double vision,
Thoroughly amused.

Freedom has its lonely moments
Classically depressing, though it’s
Never quite as sad as indifference.

-interlude-

I took a trip to the pastel city.
I’m flowing over it,
Spending all my love.
I shared a drink with a friend
And we laughed out loud.
On the deep moonlight.

And I want to leave the city
And watch the desert gloat at me
And watch the paisley birdy play

--bridge--

I climbed aboard the northbound train, tonight.
I wrote about the feeling
That felt so right.
I fell in love with a stranger.
I can't say she broke my heart,
But I was definitely in danger.
Caution can be beneficial,
you never know when the world will
suffocate and die.

-interlude-

I took a stand for anything tonight.
Big or small, I couldn't be sure
Whether I was right.
But it felt perfectly natural anyway.
Perfectly hopeless,
But at least I had something to say.

Nevermind the politics and policies.
Nevermind the glamourous dignity.
Just suffer happily
…suffer happily.
