Rob Papen is a Dutch producer, composer and musician who already started his love for synthesizer music at an early age. In 1982, when he was just 18 years old, Rob had a number 1 hit in Belgium and in The Netherlands with “Aurora”, a track that came out under the project name Nova. Nova was a Dutch synthesizer group with members Ruud van Es, Peter Kommers and of course Rob Papen.

For this week’s vlog I sat down with Rob in his beautiful studio, to ask him about the story behind “Aurora”. But of course you will hear more about Rob’s current work and his virtual synthesizers as well.
