Painting a wine glass

Here I paint a wine glass as a demo for a student using their photo. I am using acrylic paint on paper. The whole painting took about 30 minutes. There are some proportion issues in the glass including overall height and the shape at the bottom right of the glass. My main focus was the rendering. If you want smoother transitions and cleaner clearer shapes, take more time and use smaller brushes. I like the painterly approach that allows the brushstrokes to live as paint while still representing the forms and light.
