British artist Charlie Evans, well-known for his long-running TV series and art classes, first discovered his love for art during an early career in catering. Soon after, he was commissioned by the National Coal Board to paint pictures for their boardrooms. After also attending Lincoln Art College, Charles relocated to Northumberland where his art career continued to develop. His exuberant and informal personality is now reflected in his paintings, with the lightness and simplicity other artists aspire to.
