Bourbon Restoration (1814–1830) Unofficial Anthem "Où peut-on être mieux qu'au sein de sa famille"

"Where can we be better than in his family" was an unofficial national anthem of the Kingdom of France during the First Restoration and the Second Restoration between 1815 and 1830. This song was mainly played during the presence of the royal family.
The song comes from the room Lucile of Jean-François Marmontel that was first played on January 5, 1769. The melody was composed by the Liège André Grétry . The melody will be repeated later by the verviétois Henri Vieuxtemps in the adagio of his fifth concerto for violin.
