Donald Trump praised the coronavirus vaccine as a ‘Christmas miracle’ and thanked American citizens for their courage during the pandemic. ‘We're grateful for all of the scientists, researchers, manufacturing workers, and service members who have worked tirelessly to make this breakthrough possible. It is truly a Christmas miracle,’ Trump said in the address. First Lady Melania said that communities have found new ways to stay connected to one another even amid the pandemic and lauded the courage of first responders, doctors, nurses and scientists.
