Oil for the face???
Learn where the “skin barrier” actually exists and why oil is detrimental to the skin on our face. The barrier exists within the epidermis. Not on top. It exists between the stratum corners and stratum granulosum layers of the superficial epidermis. The is the way the skin protects from allergens, micoorganisms and toxins from entering the body. The skin is our largest organ and it protects us from the outside world as the first barrier of defense. It also prevents transepidermal water loss and keeps the skin hydrated. Learn from a dermatologist about skin histology and epidermal function if you want to step your game up. Not those less educated who get their info from google and propagate misinformation like oil being beneficial from skin health.
