Glute Abductor Machine

Glute abductor machine

Stand within the glute abductor machine and place one foot on the foot plate behind. And hold onto the handle bars to support the torso from moving abound.

Movement

Extend the leg backwards so a contraction in the glute is felt then return back to starting position. Repeat how many reps necessary for desired results and then switch legs.

Safety tips

- Keep holding onto the handles
- Keep the abdominals contracted throughout the exercise
- Keep the foot firmly on the plate in one position
- Do not arch the lower back
