Bob Mincer's name has been linked for decades to both the great Los Angeles collective of the Yellowjackets, and the Cologne-based West German Radio Big Band; this American musician's characteristic saxophone timbre and unique energy adorns innumerable recordings, and several of his compositions are considered to be jazz standards.
