Is my newborn getting enough breast milk or formula?
Monitoring wet diapers in addition to weight is a good way to assess if your baby is getting enough. Babies should have at least 2 wet diapers on day 2, at least on 3 on day 3 and 4 or more from day 4 onward (usually babies will have approximately 4-8 wet diapers a day). If your baby has fewer wet diapers than that, contact your pediatrician.
