Today we talk about how you can make money with commissions, and a guide of how I built up Katnipp starting with custom portraits and logos!

Taking commissions in the early days really helped grow Katnipp as a business, I used the money I made from portraits on Facebook and my Etsy store to invest into more products and kick start my line of Merchandise and stationary.

Commissions can be a quick fire way to get your career kick started, whether your a graphic designer, artist, illustrator or Freelance designer, these tips can be applied to most circumstances.

You don't need a fancy site, or need to splurge out on expensive equipment, you just need your skills, a computer and a social media page!

I really hope you find this video helpful in some way. When I started Katnipp I was no where near the skill level I am today, but everyone has to start somewhere, even if it's selling to family and friends on facebook which is what I did!
