Billy and Jimmy Lee are actually just frogs in disguise! Rare didn't build a new engine for the Double Dragon brothers, so they literally mapped them onto the Battletoads collision boxes. That's why they use the crazy "Smash Hit" giant boots and fists.

Roper's name is a mistake. The boss with the machine gun is obviously Willy from the arcade game, but a coding error named him Roper forever.

The Shadow Boss doesn't exist in Japan. He was completely made up by British developers at Rare just for this crossover!
