Citrus Leaf Minor | Organic Choices: (1) Neem Oil (2) Spinosad (3) IV Organic

Charles Malki, Biologist & Plant Expert from http://ivorganics.com/ discusses how to organically treat citrus leaf miners organically; a citrus pest that plagues the new growth citrus from late spring through early fall. In this lesson, we discuss the following organic remedies: (1) neem oil, (2) spinosad, (3) mineral oil, and (4) IV Organic.

Note, DO NOT mix neem oil with spinosad, as I have seen other gardener's demonstrate. The reason is that the bacteria in the spinosad product (a "beneficial" garden bacteria) may be smothered and killed by the neem oil effects. It is more effective to space the application of these products at least 2-3 weeks apart.
