The Perfect Proposal (Warning - You will CRY!)

She said YES!! Omg, she said YES.

Jewel was so SURPRISED and caught off guard with this proposal. Originally, we were supposed to go on a helicopter ride over New York City but due to COVID-19, this was cancelled. I couldn’t let the plan fail so I thought quick!

Everything that could have possibly went wrong, did...but everything was so RIGHT! We took pictures on Washington Street in DUMBO by the Manhattan Bridge. Then, I figured if we could get to Pier 3 of Brooklyn Bridge Park, this would be the PERFECT PROPOSAL.

When we got the Pier 3, the photographer and I had a code phrase for when we should start recording. In the video, you can see me give a thumbs up. I never thought Jewel would be CRYING during the proposal and I was correct! (Jewel isn’t a happy cryer).

Although she wasn’t crying, she was indeed SURPRISED! When she saw the video she was definitely crying, just like YOU!
