Railfanning at Austell! Trains @ the “Hottest Y” in Georgia!

Over the summer, I spent a week in Georgia visiting family. During this week I was able to spend a few days trackside at various spots in the Atlanta area.

Austell is about 15 minutes outside Atlanta, where the North District and the East District split off. The Y sees about 50 trains a day.

I spent 2 days in the Austell area, this video shows day 1 with 27 minutes of nonstop action.
