കോട്ടയത്ത് പരിപ്പ് എന്ന പേരിൽ ഒരു സ്ഥലമുണ്ട്. ഈ പരിപ്പിനടുത്തു തന്നെ തൊള്ളായിരം ചിറ എന്ന പേരിൽ കുറച്ചു പാടങ്ങൾ. ഇവിടെ ഒരു ചെറിയ കള്ള് ഷാപ്പും. ഈ ഷാപ്പിലെ മീൻ കറിയും കപ്പയും വളരെ പ്രശസ്തമാണ് എന്ന് വിഷ്ണു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ഒന്ന് പോയി നോക്കാം എന്ന് തീരുമാനിച്ചു. നല്ല സുന്ദരമായ ചുറ്റുവട്ടം; അവിടെ ഇളം കാറ്റും കൊണ്ട് നാടൻ ഷാപ്പിലെ രുചികളും.
