MyFitnessPal Recommends 1300 Calories #shorts
Will you lose weight by severely restricting your calories? Absolutely. Will you be able to sustain that weight loss? Probably not.
The reason behind this - when you go into severe calorie restriction, you are not creating the lifestyle habits to sustain the weight loss. It’s also likely that you are not focusing on resistance training, or eating enough protein in order to maintain your muscle mass. So when you were losing weight, you were losing both fat and muscle. Eventually, you will start eating more. You will gain the weight back very quickly and much easier because your body composition has changed.
I hear so many people say that they can only lose weight on sub 1200 cal a day. Most of you are just impatient and do not stick to it long enough to see the results.
