Found ULTAN'S Ring, free dive metal detecting LJR#69

Today I received a call out from Ultan, who unfortunately lost his wedding ring while throwing a ball in the water. Luckily he felt the ring fly off his finger and land in the water he quickly dived down in attempt to catch it before it hit the sand, easier said then done and opening our eyes under water is not exactly HD quality with vision. Ultan did the next smart thing he remembered land marks that provide a great search area and broke the gut sinking news to his lovely understanding wife Trish. Ultan continued to search for another 40 minutes and the cold water was taking a toll on his body, (I have to say impressive effort mate👍🏻) while Trish was onto google and came across lostjewelleryrecovery.com.au
After speaking with Trish I was on my way to their location. What was supposed to be a chest deep search turned out to be a scuba search but I was geared up and decided to give it a free dive attempt. I've done these before but not recommended it was only 7 ft deep but detecting in water you cannot stand in is dangerous without a steady air supply. After 20 minutes of treading water I got a loud sharp signal I new its either a coin or a ring and sure enough it was ULTAN'S rose gold and platinum wedding ring. Success, a big thanks to minelab detectors👍🏻
