A 2% wealth tax on just the richest 15 families in the UK could raise over £5bn a year.
That could cut household energy bills by an average of £150 a year using the Joseph Rowntree Foundation's Rising Block Tariff proposal.
The same tax on the assets over £10 million of all 350 families in the Sunday Times Rich List could raise over £15 billion a year.
