Q: How did you get this internship?
A: L'Oreal actively recruits on campus @ Cornell so I applied through Handshake (our internship/job platform) and went through two rounds of interviews.

Q: Interview tips?
A: Do as much research about the internship and company culture as possible. You can do this through online research and by reaching out to people on LinkedIn (try to find any school alumni through your network). For the interview, prepare answers for the basic behavioral questions and look on Glassdoor for examples/advice. Be prepared with a pitch and story as to why you want to work at L'Oreal and why you're passionate about the industry. Be sure to use the STAR format to incorporate your experiences in your answers.

Q: When can I apply?
A: Check back frequently on the L'Oreal careers/summer internship page to see when applications open. I believe it is around September/October and they go through the process on a ROLLING basis so the sooner you apply the better.
