Alec R. Costandinos Vol. 17: Tony Rallo & The Midnite Band: Burnin' Alive (1979)

Tony Rallo is a French musical director who had already enjoyed considerable success in his home country during the 70s, working with the likes of Dalida, Chales Aznavour, Caroline Verdi, and Johnny Hallyday. He also composed and conducted France's Song for the Eurovision Song Contest, 1976, Un Deux Trois for Catherine Ferry, which finished 2nd that year. He teamed up with Alec Costandinos for the disco album Burnin' Alive which was released in October 1979, yielding a hit single in the UK with Holdin' On (#35) and a club hit with the song Burnin' Alive, featuring John & Arthur Simms on vocals.
