Selma | Based on a True Story
When the movie Selma came out, it was a hit, and a critical darling. But there was a significant controversy surrounding it, and that was the historical accuracy. Given that this show’s intent is to analyze history in film, I thought it was about time to tackle that problem head on. After having watched the movie though, I think the fact-checkers have gone too far.
