Portugal in mourning after Lisbon funicular derails • FRANCE 24 English

Portugal observes a national day of mourning, after a funicular train crash left at least 16 people dead and 21 injured in Lisbon on Wednesday. One of the capital’s iconic and touristy streetcar derailed and crashed into a building, leaving the city in shock. Among the people injured are 11 foreign nationals, including one French citizen.
